FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why steam cleaning?
Most major carpet manufacturers now recommend hot water extraction (steam cleaning) as the preferred method of cleaning and maintaining the life of your carpet. Like the laundering of your clothing, steam cleaning is highly effective in removing soil and other contaminants from your carpet.
How safe are your cleaning methods?
We use only the safest, most effective technology to assure not only your satisfaction, but the safety of your family and pets, as well. We do not use any harsh chemicals, only non-toxic, biodegradable solutions and pure, high-pressure steam.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
The normal drying time is anywhere from 6 to 12 hours. The carpet will only be damp to the touch. Depending on room temperature, air flow, and overall conditions this time can vary.
Can I walk on the carpet right after the cleaning has been done?
Yes. However, we recommend you avoid high traffic until the carpet is completely dry. Use caution as wet feet may cause slipping and falling.
Do you move furniture you are cleaning around?
We move light furniture such as standard sofas, coffee tables, and chairs in larger rooms such as the living room, dining room, and family room. We do not typically move stereo equipment, electronics, TVs, china hutches, pianos, and such larger, or more sensitive objects.
Any recommendations before the technician arrives?
Remove any breakable objects from tight corners and tables near stairs. We move light furniture, but we let you handle small things such as toys . It is helpful if you move any vehicles out of your garage before we get there that you may want to use since the garage is typically blocked once we get started.
